vivo again

on at regular monday afternoon at 2pm, shouldnt people be working? if thats the case, then why is vivo so freakin packed? it was as if everyone in town had been teleported there. it was swarming with people, esp aunties and parents with little kids. im not that a big fan of crowds. everyone seem to be roaming around aimlessly. i wonder why...

anyway, we had our own fun trying on lots of clothes. i have to stop shoppping. if not i'll go broke even before my pay comes in. bad. but i bought a new dress! ok.. not exactly a dress, but i'll wear it as a dress. who cares. it fits. it's a pretty shade of green. and it's from zara kids! :D

i finally checked out the top level and the open roof of vivo. it was pretty! with the whole wading pool and all. but there were so many kids playing in it it was kinda gross. some even took it for a swimming pool. i wonder why some parents let their kids do that?! it's quite unsightly actually. cuz everyone's like walking and washing their feet in it. eeew! haha.. anyway, the view up there's gorgeous!

going for just $80 for the 300ml bottle. yep.. 300ml. thats big! it smells refreshing, a bit like Anna Sui's Secret Wish, but not that sweet. If u want a sample you can check it out at Tangs Level 1, opposite MAC. It's limited edition so it might not be there now.

i got it not too long ago for $110, and only used a bit. so there's like 90% left. It's in good condition, with the box and screw on cap. If ur interested please leave me a tag or comment with your email or contact!

I wanna get another perfume and figured it'll take me forever to finish using this. i got bored with it.. yea.. so im looking for something more fruity.

do u know that famous phrase which goes.. The End is only the Beginning?

well.. today sure felt like the Beginning is just like the end. ok.. that's a tad bit cheesy.. but we all definitelt felt that.. well.. most of the normal ones sure did..

had my first paper today - Communication Histroy. Madness. the mcq was probably the only easy section. the rest was just dead.. i hope i wont do that badly. but when the guy said pens down, everyone was grinning with relief! it was a total nightmare studying for the subject. and Prof Detenber was nuts. he was happily wearing his BIG clown hat prancing around just like he did in his e-learning video. hilarious!

yes yes yes.. im so so much lively now. despite it's like pass 2 in the morning. i feel like i can jump around and go running. yeah.. that's how relief i feel.

i was down mugging at a quiet and pretty unknown starbucks near my place yesterday when i met this guy that looked just like Karl Marx! yes.. im so not kidding. i was there studying for Com History, and i happened to be studying Marx and his Historical Materialism and Marsixt theory when this big dude walked pass babbling in some weird German accent. when i looked up i thought i was hallucinating. He was totally decked out in Prof gear with those leather brief case.. it was FREAKY! like hello.. halloween's way over?! but nooo.. it was KARL MARX! ok.. no it wasn't. but he's like almost a replica of the photo in my text. complete with the bushy grey hair and thick beard. i was so trying not to laugh.. i think i must have looked like an idiot. but yes... weird things do happen. just like how Freud has had so much more influence on later day scholars, regardless how sexually looney he was, compared to the sane ones like Darwin.

amazingly the background turns out to be pretty cool..

i headed down to town to meet theo and shin after paper today. Retail is gooood.. besides.. my pay just got in..i bought a pair of shorts! yay! and saw many more things i wanna get..i can't wait till chirstmas!

The Way Outdated Post Part II

BOOOO! It's Halloween!

welcome to the witching hour!

it was really really fun last saturday night with the girls! was totally crazy.. the whole place was decorated complete with faux cobweb and all. and we all were in full costume+makeup! it was so fun dressing up. ok. so we're all typical girly girls.. janet was awesome! she was so into her character she was scarring people by the waffle machine! and jason's band, elusion dressed up too! it was hilarious seeing th huge drummer play drums in a black robe with the scary face mask!

and.. we took TONS of pictures!

the night was with theo, jolene, janet and claire!
i was a gothic/dead bride or evil charlie chaplin's wife, theo was the evil charlie chaplin, jolene was a witch, janet was a dead/suicide school girl and claire was a dead run-away bride!

the past 4 days have been sheer hell.

excruciating pain. it's like strapping you to a chair and tempting you with everything that can be thought of. it's like treating you like a puppet, controlling your every move.

and it's not even the final exams!

i guess everyone was in sorta the same boat. unless you're some sort of freak that is a pro in Indesign. my life's been just me, and my mac. nothing else. everything else is like a minimal. minimal food, minimal movement. 12 whole freakin pages of layout. redesigning the chronicle. what a joke! like the column i wrote, What Was I Thinking?! ok. so it was not a choice. but i actually thought it was fun.

don't get me wrong. design IS fun. making things look pretty IS fun. but having so many restrictions and being completely pressed for time is FAR FROM FUN. especially so when your freakin prof failed your previous assignment. the one u put in so much effort for. i never ever get it. why is it that whenever you do something at the last possible minute, it'll always turn out to be great and way better than one you put in all your efforts and planning into. it's just plain frustrating.

ranting about all these is making me feel much better. it's like releasing all the trapped gas from a tightly compressed container. it's like freeing a cage jammed packed with birds. no, this is far from the Richard Gnere-Visa ad. i seriously hope i can do well on this one. i really gave it all i had.

for once i was so disciplined. i actually sat there the whole day, for 4 entire days clicking and typing. for those who do not yet know, i had to redesign the layout for my school's newspaper. it's 12 freakin pages. from scratch! it even came to a point that I thought maybe if I died I can get away from this. Dying is definitely not a choice. Perhaps I was hallucinating.

Finally I can start to get my life back. then again.. it wont be for long as the finals are just round the corner. i swear the education system is out to kill us. my back is still hurting like crap though.. argh. and i missed halloween! of all festivals!

Another friday night at Walla's with EIC. Daryl's Birthday! we gave him some sort of a mini suprise celebration with a bottle of Moet and a slice of cake. think the guys all drink too much. esp kenneth! who started jumping around getting all high! then he passes out!
