Happy Birthday Zhuo! and Thanks Ben for the prezzie! im suprised it could fit! :) we headed down to evan's to drink. i opened my first bottle! lychee/longan white wine. was nice and sweet! my kinda drink! josh happened to be there so stuck around and hung out for a while. i love the ambience there. dim and laid back. perfect for bumming around. i think im gonna die from lung cancer from all the 2nd hand smoke from u guys! haha.. think ive quite gotten used to it now.

i dug myself another hole
woke up to a bad start. i was actually happy when i went to sleep. despite it being 7am in the monring and having not being able to walk cuz my feet hurt from mambo. but when i woke up, it's like things just came one after another. and the rain didnt help much either. i feel like my mood's like the whether these days. grey and wet. i miss the bright and sun shiny days! and everything's becoming confusing again. every quiet moment i get i immediately drift into my own little world of thoughts. it's like almost uncontrolable. so besides the flooding of nonsense there's the useless worry. because clever me happily dug myself another hole knowing i fall so easily. sometimes i really don't like the fact that im that susceptable to it. not that i dont have enough on my mind. im just a sucker for the adrenalin rush and the butterflies. but the problem is. i cant even make out what the problem is. but perhaps to make things easier, please help me forget you. i really dont want to but it's too hard not to. ok .. maybe im making it sound a bit exaggerated. and mellowdramatic. but im just stuck in another hole and i cant do anything! help.. dea likes falling.. but not into holes...

Christmas Eve!it seemed pretty much like a typical christmas eve morning. all rainy, gloomy and wet. felt like the perfect day to stay in and laze around in bed. but i went out anyway.met up with josh in town. since neither of us had plans. i just couldnt be bothered to make any..and his.. well.. it's complicated. haha.. cheer up dude! i actually braved the rain to run out to get a cab. i never liked getting drenched. town was exceptionally crowded. peopel were swarming everywhere, shopping like money fell from the sky. thr crowd kinda sucks so we headed to The Wine Company at Evan's for dinner, josh's aunt's place. and it was nice and quiet there, with a pretty good band as well. i liked the ambience. dim lightings, a good band and alfresco dining always works for me. and photo-taking always makes things fun.

shoot prep & a wailing mr skyplanning is stressfuL! and it didnt help that mr sky decided to wail and flood singpore. theo was gonna come over to bake so i spent the whole moring clearing up my house. it is still in a mess and severely lacking in furniture! rah!rushed to hv to meet girlfriend for lunch. was suppose to be a drink lunch. but the place with nice drinks decided to sleep in as well. girlfriend rocks! haha.. so funny. 5 year gay plan. way to go man. i love ya! we must go for drinks soon.theo came.. so we went shopping for ingredients for the food shoot at chip bee garden's and jelita. love walking through supermarkets! its therapeutic! really. and we found this prawn lady who helped us peel the cocktail prawns. rocks!

even shakespeare says love is blind'X'topher' as Angel puts it is back.fri night movie with angel melvin and chris at GV Gold Class. it was a great experience! love the huge reclining seats and blankets! for one i didnt freeze that much in the movies. Thanks Melvin!!we caught The Holiday. it was sweet, feel good show. very chrismasy. quite love it. im a sucker for romantic comedy.. sweet stuff. yea. even if i dont seem like it. it just makes you wanna fall in love all over again..it always gets me thinking. i walked all the way home and did alot of thinking. didnt realize how i miss having someone around. it's weird. but u somehow miss the feeling of having someone love you i guess. thankfully it comes and goes. fast... i cant remember who asked me this: if i regreted what i did - getting attached and then breaking up. i guess i definitely regretted who i got attached to, but definitely not the action. definitely not falling in love. im so over it. but everyone would agree falling in love is great, it seems more like a priviledge or a miracle. somehow. to me at least. not that i dont want to. i realized how much ive pushed all these thoughts so far back that ive somehow forgotten about them till recently. maybe christmas is all about love. but why then does it seem a tad bit depressing?i need to get back being the non-emo me again. seriously. fast too. thinking too much makes me distracted. not good for health! :P i cant seem to understand why am i even thinking about all these. perhaps there's something i need to release..you got me at hello, i never wanna say goodbye. now ive got myself confused. yet again. stuck in the hole that i dug for myself. the hole that's getting way too deep to climb out of.thoughts aside, we had a fun time! just like the old days. great to have you back doctor!

13th Day of Christmas
my new hideawayi love love the streets near Eskin Road. tons of cool shops in beautiful shophouses with pretty perenakan styled tiles and cool graffiti at the back alley. best of all it's quiet and not alot of people know of the place. quaint little cafes and pubs littered along the narrow stretch. definitely making another trip back there soon. i love shophouses!theo and i had to prepare for our valentine's day shoot for Seventeen so we headed to Eskin Street to pick up some decor stuff. we had lots of fun exploring the place! lotsa cool stuff! and taking photos everywhere!

another one of those emo nights..
now i really wonder if christmas this year will rock. i want it to! alright. im in one of my moods again. which suck. i want bright sunny skies and white fluffy clouds. i want pretty white snow and cool gentle sea breeze as well. im so confused. it was as good as it was bad. on some parts it seems as though things were going pretty good. then it looks completely hopeless. why do things turn out this way?! i wanna let it all out. but i don't know how. now circumstances make it seem impossible. perhaps it's just something only i will know. i want smiles, laughter, butterflies and floating on cloud 9. i want the mysterious intriguing chase, the vulnerability and the security. somehow it all seems to become further and further away.i wanna be specific, but im forced to be evasive. im sorry i don't know how to hint. im sorry i hide it all too well. im getting bored of whatever im doing. things are getting stale. i need change, i need something interesting. im addicted to chasing that constant high. a potent drug that'll bring us all down. i want something new. tired of being the me that i am now. working so much aint gonna take everywhere forever. perhaps it's the end of another phase. i just want a warm christmas filed with love. sometimes i dont even know what im ranting about. im sure it'll all disappear come tomorrow morning. another emo night with a dull moon and star-less sky.

have to say it's one of the best parties of the year. abosolutely crazy. i've never felt so exhausted in my life. 12 hours straight, and everyone's a walking zombie when the dawn breaks. the music was great! DJ Andrew Chow was awesome! and so was mambo!
Ben & Jerry's has a booth there so we all got to go party and work for free! was awesome! i think we partied more than we work! having our own mambo session under our disco ball at the booth and making guys buy ice cream even when they dont want to eat. amazing how a little alcohol can do wonders!
clubbing really reveals alot. standing at the booth starring at the crowd at the dancefloor, it suddenly got scary. like everyone's so lost into the whole music thing it looks almost like a trance. sometimes i really wonder what people are thinking when they're so into it and dancing away. somehow their expressions and all seem blank...
RnB HipHop with Andrew Chow was awesome. had a fun time with the girls, cheryl, janet and claire. was dancing with this group of guys. not the best looking but one of them i danced with could dance really well. i mean for a guy, hardly any guy can dance that well. it was a bit weird. but i didnt care so much about the guy. just love the music! it was a crazy crazy time. your sould just kinda blends with the music and for a moment you forget everything around you, everything that has happened. just like everything that's on your mind has been taken away. you run on adrenalin and your on this constant high. i absolutely love the feeling, and i dont even need any alcohol to feel that way. dance is great.
it was freakin hot and stuffy inside though. for a moment i thought i'd die of over heating, if there is even such a thing. but after stepping out, i felt like tingles in my body and my limbs were still shaking. for a moment i kinda spaced out and freaked out a bit cuz i dont know what the hell i did in there. sounds scary but it was hell lot of fun.

People do crazy things when they're bored.it was extremely quiet at cathay last wednesday. by 12 we have already done everything that has to be done. muffins, brownies, cookies, everything. so it was left with the playing! haha.. there was like no one in the whole entire building at all!

the not-so tea partydoesnt the idea of a tea party sound fun? cute cupcakes, bite sized snacks, pretty tea cups and colourful cocktails. check out the Feb '07 issue of SEVENTEEN if u need a picture. yes, tea parties are all about girly gosspis, funky music and pretty atmosphere. before i got the assignment, i was invited to a tea party or church gathering 2 weeks back or so.silly team building games and horrible music. but the little dance no. by ah-pek clemie sure paid off. it was my first time at yishun as well. god that place is so completely suburban. some church district gathering or some sort. another of those ceremonial functions not of my fancy.spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment, last minute. yeah. that's more like it.there were photos nonetheless.

we had bowling after that. it was fun at first. and for a moment there was actually music, the right kinda music for the mood. justin's sexy back and the cosmo bowling effect totally rocked the mood and pumped up much enthusiasm. but.. BUT!! it only lasted like 2 songs before something swallowed the dj or whatever and changed it to what angel calls it "hymns". how exciting.
so pple just bumped around watching pple bowl and clap. that was until our ears started ringing. apparentlty the old foggies on the next lane had a tamborine. like who the hell brings that out even! and i swear the old lady was deaf. she kept banging the bloody thing non-stop throughout the entire game. it was INSANE! like hello.. even if your hands arent tired, doesnt your ears hurt? it was even worse than nails scratching a chalkboard. ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring ring.. non-stop. i was so so so on the verge of walking over there and snatching the tamborine from here and trashing the whole thing. it was a painful one hour. i wonder how her friends could stand it too.
so no more of such functions for me. lesson learnt.

5th day of christmas

met with an unexpected suprise today. lets just say it made me smile. the sky was totally wailing when i got off work. stll had to rush to return the clothes and got stuck at forum for almost an hour. rainy days.. love it but hate it as well. i seemed like a confused kid again. i couldnt stand waiting so i dashed accross the road in the drain over to palais. thank god daddy could come pick me. i still got wet though. but i forgot how fun it was running in the rain. halfway across the road i actually felt quite happy. no my brains are not soaked. it's just the feeling of liberty and fresh release running in the rain..
would u take my hand and run through the rain with me?
i realize i have lost interest in studying. or rather choosing what subjects to take. im stuck in this dilemma between choosing a subject that is easy to score, one that gives ne the shortest possible timetable, and a subject of my interest. sadly none that im interested in seems easy to score. i love shakespeare and lit, but it's freakin difficult in uni and to maintain a good gpa it's almost impossible. then there's the fun arty subjects, but the timing sucks. and no way am i gonna stay in school pass 5. that's just crazy. so im pretty much stuck. i hate it.

i am pissed.
and irritated.
and disgusted..i thought i wasn't. but on the way back, i didnt know why it changed. everything was nice and fun, till dinner. or rather after dinner. Discovery land was great. kids are the best. honest, direct and innocent. adults, no way. uni students, even worse. especially from a certain uni, which i shall not mention cuz it would be unfair to the nicer girls.it was weird. perhaps my human biasness kicked in. but everyone's just bias to a certain extent. whether you like it or not. i never really liked the girls. it's easy how you can tell someone by their actions and 1st impression. sure you cant judge a book by its cover, but it sure does give you a pretty good hint about what the book is like. despite trying very hard not to let prior impression cloud me, it's hard to ignore the dirty looks being shot. perhaps they werent intentional, but then that will be even worse. cuz it just means it's instinct. girls naturally are bitchy. it's part of the chemicals that make up a girl. so ignoring was done with ease. and things were going ok. having our own fun with clemlets and what nots.until.. until i was at the bus stop waiting. i saw the group walking pass.. so i decided to be nice since we're all from the same church and all to smile and wave hi. i should have just been myself and pretended they did not exist and float away into my own world. never NEVER be nice to strangers. its a lesson taught to every young child, and a lesson very much treasured and applicable to all situations. guess what i got in return?! yep..dirty looks and the so called "im so way better than you are" kinda look. u know what im getting at. Aren’t we all human beings?! What’s so different?! so what if you come from a so called better college? so i sound mean now, but im not exaggerating one bit. neither am i over sensitive cuz ive lost all my sense of feeling a long time back. it just felt like the bite and sting you get from trying to help a dog pick up its bone and return it back. I was actually more shock than annoyed. And now im disgusted. Yes, minor things do get to me. Especially these. Because im always being shot down for being unfriendly cuz im usually quieter around strangers. Ironic. But just the exact reason for me to never ever get too close to any girl from church.
